The Annual HGC-SCI First for Hunters Fundraiser auction is our main source of raising revenue to support the many initiatives we sponsor each and every year.  No other organization, locally, nationally or internationally, donates more time and money to preserving not only our hunting heritage, but in conserving the habitat crucial to wildlife survival.  Organizations to which we've donated include Texas Parks and Wildlife, Zimbabwe's Rifa Conservation Education Camp, Texas Bighorn Society, Operation Game Thief, the Usango African Lion Project, the John Banovich African Project and many more.  In addition we support numerous humanitarian efforts and organizations, such as Women Helping Women, Operation Orphans local Boy Scouts and the Citywide Club, just to name a few.  In addition, every year we sponsor a trip for teachers and/or students to the SCIF American Wilderness School (AWLS).  We also sponsor the largest FREE Youth TPWD Hunter Education Certification course in Texas each year, attended by hundreds of youths; we even pick up the lunch tab for the weekend!

The 2010 Houston Gulf Coast - SCI First for Hunters Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, September 11th at the Kwik Kopy Northwest Convention Center, 12715 Telge Road in Cypress.  Your participation is crucial in raising the money needed to support these efforts, so we hope you’ll come join in the fun; bid high and bid often!  Special Raffle Tickets, Banquet Tickets and Bucket Raffle Tickets are now available online, with special deals that are available for a limited time, and only online!
